IS PERSONAL TRAINING WORTH IT?

IS PERSONAL TRAINING WORTH IT?

IS PERSONAL TRAINING WORTH IT? Yes! Personal Training is the most effective way of getting fitter, stronger and achieving your exercise goals. If you want to fast track your fitness then this is for you.

How is it effective?

A major advantage is that itโ€™s just you training! A good Personal Trainer will listen to what you want to achieve and design a programme that reflects your goals.

Understanding your own personal motivation for training is key. Lots of people want to improve their fitness and strength. Some are training for a specific event or others to lose weight. Some for all of the above!

Whatever your motivation is, itโ€™s really important you let your trainer know what you want to get out of your sessions together.

What else do I get?

Loads of stuff! Sessions should of course reflect what you (the client) want to do but also be informative and motivational. You should learn how to perform each exercise accurately and effectively and also learn why it is relevant to you.

Personal training is all about the individual so you are accountable for turning up and putting effort into each session. This accountability is very important and should keep you motivated and focused. Each session should also be challenging, varied and of course fun.

Finally, your trainer is obviously there to coach you to a better level but also importantly to support you when you are down and inspire you to achieve your fitness goals.

To get the most from all your hard work you will also need to learn about nutrition, rest and recovery. A good Personal Trainer will have a good grasp of these topics and be able to offer lots of handy advice.

How do I start?

Starting an exercise routine is tough but itโ€™s always the first step which is the hardest.

Some people are quite happy to train themselves whilst others prefer group fitness classes. If you donโ€™t fall into either of those categories but you want to get into exercise then try Personal Training.
